My last job was with Matt Gill at H&T (Hammond & Thackeray)
for a cancer drug. We photographed an elderly couple which was back at
enjoying life after successful cancer treatments (the shoot is all about skin, hands and mobility).
I did the entire shoot on my
50mm lens, shot at f/1.2 (except the Sport pics, which we shot with the 70-200mm zoom, at f/2.8) … to achieve that shallow-focus look.
Frankly, I enjoy assignments where the purpose is to help people, rather than the sort of advertising where we glorify some consumer product we could do without.
