3. once the budget and shooting dates are decided on and approved, we'll sign a contract
(please familiarise yourself with the Videography & Photography Contract & Booking Form in beforehand)
4. we (but primarily you) shall create a script with a detailed shot list; as an example for a script, this is the one for my promo video ... so this script is for a 10 minute video
5. once script and shot list are finalised you'll receive a call sheet, where the dates, times and locations are detailed
6. shooting is approx. 1 hour per minute of final video
7. editing is approx. 1 day per minute of final video (the emphasis with these 2 points is on "approx." ... I say this because I want to point out just how much more time goes into editing than shooting)
8. a music track may be added; please note: Sourcing a music track can be time-consuming ... I suggest you research this on your own and choose/buy a track yourself
9. you'll receive a preliminary cut from which your feedback will be entered into the final cut
(two revisions are included in the negotiated fee; further revisions are charged at $100/hour)
10. your video will be saved in three formats, large (appr. 1 gb per minute ... for projected presentations), medium 1080p and small 480p ... that is the size of these You Tube uploads
11. I will upload your video to You Tube and provide you with the link which your web-developer then integrates into your website ... if you're a little computer savvy, this is an easy step you can undertake yourself
12. I use a Canon video camera and high quality Sennheiser & Røde sound gear; my edits are done in Final Cut Pro X
