The Toolman was photographed in the client's store-room. About a hundred pictures were taken, more than a half
dozen were used in the composite … the face has elements from about four or five different shots
(eyes, inside of mouth, beard, high-lites, sweat were all from different
frames); wall and floor were different locations.
