476 iPhone 6 Photography
I’ve been raving about iPhones for many years (I think it is the greatest machine ever invented, nothing less) and I probably will get an iPhone 6 Plus … if only for its photography capabilities. Now we see iPone 6 photos all over town in huge posters … amazing. This is one of the photographs that are blown up to a large poster. Go to the Apple iPhone World-Gallery to view the whole story. Now, in everyday life I'm a Canon man. The thing is, the iPhone - as great as it is - may well leave some photographers wanting just a little more ... and I've pleaded with Canon to give us what we want: A camera-phone, i.e. a camera with a phone built in ... not an iPhone-camera, i.e. a phone with a camera built in (c'm on, Alan.)
When I asked, "will we need any other cameras?" Alan responded with an emphatic: "Yes". In return I said:

A Canon / Apple iPhone would have a viewfinder with a proper 3x f/2.0 zoom lens. Don't let Samsung and Nokia run away with the idea, Canon and Apple (blog 252).
