When I lived in Copenhagen, the Georg Jensen store was just down the road from us.
The manager, Jørgen Møller, used to come over and bring pieces they just sold, for us
to photograph. One day he brought a whole bunch of silver hollowware. The story goes,
an Arab Sheik had come to their shop and bought all the tableware they had in stock …
and then they ordered dinner settings for 24 people in the same opulent, antique style;
the order would keep the workshop busy for two years.
Six month later he told me they had a call from the Sheik: Could they please have the
entire order filled once more ... this time in gold.
