Yes, that
jet fighter went vertically straight up into the sky … to the point where it came to a
standstill (I think) and then dropped down toward earth
and continued in an elegant swoop on its way. Very impressive; very Australia
Day!
There were more aerobatic displays, of six antique military planes ...
... again, very Australia Day ... and a good time was had by all. How busy was it on and off the harbour! Lots of small ships and tall ships.
But, as always on days like this, the hi-lite was family ... even though there was only a small contingent of our family represented. Never mind ... the few of us who attended had a great time.
