CoViD mis-, dis-information and outright lies
Dr. Phillip Altman partook in Manly in the 2023 NSW regional election with an anti-CoViD-vaccine campaign; he received 2.7% of the votes = 1,401
On his webpage phillipaltman.substack he makes these claims:
"WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO WITHDRAW THESE DANGEROUS "VACCINES"? Those responsible need to be held to account
"THE FIGHT GOES ON TO AWAKEN ...
Even the wilfully blind will eventually be forced to see."
"Our campaign activities enabled us to expose literally thousands of people to the reality that the COVID so-called “vaccines” are associated for more serious adverse drug events and death than any pharmaceutical in the history of the industry."
"The misinformation, disinformation and outright lies told from the beginning about the “vaccines” are being exposed."
The Drug Adverse Effect Notification (DAEN) system reports 14 deaths in total and zero children or adolescents dying due to the COVID “vaccines”. This is incompetence, corruption and/or wilful blindness at the highest level and it is costing Australian lives every day it goes on.
"It is hard to conceive a more deceitful, disgraceful and dangerous narrative.”
"The latest official US Center for Disease Control statistics for US deaths and injuries (10 March) now reports 34,725 deaths as well as hundreds of thousands of injuries."
"In Australia, the spike in non-COVID deaths amount to more than 10,000 per year."
These are alarming statements, and many of Altman's followers are duly drawn in by the "information" and "truths" :

Altman claims his research is based on findings by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC):
"The latest official US Center for Disease Control statistics for US deaths and injuries (10 March) now reports 34,725 deaths as well as hundreds of thousands of injuries."
The above statement is an outright lie; it has now been altered to read:

With the way the webpage is designed the casual observer is led to believe these are statistics from the CDC COVID-19 Reported Adverse Events webpage. One needs a very strong eye-glass to see what the actual source is: openvaers.com
On that website you can indeed find the outrageous numbers that so outrage Altman and his followers: 34,725 COVID Vaccine Reported Deaths ... etc.
However, a quick google search reveals the truth about OpenVAERS, Wikipedia:
OpenVAERS is an American anti-vaccine website, that misrepresents data from the CDC Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) to promote misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.
In August 2021, the British anti-disinformation organization Logically reported that 30% of the website's referral traffic came from The Gateway Pundit, a far-right fake news website.
OpenVAERS misrepresents data from the VAERS database to indicate that the COVID-19 vaccines are harmful, by publishing unverified data and statistics on the number of people who have allegedly died or suffered injuries after being vaccinated against COVID-19.
Kolina Koltai, a Postdoctoral Fellow of the Center for an Informed Public (ICP) at the University of Washington, described OpenVAERS as "misinformation 101", adding: "It's decontextualization. I literally show examples like that in classes that I teach. You take a bit of information and you remove all the other context from it. That's common with almost any misinformation you can see".
"Misinformation, disinformation and outright lies ..." indeed. As an aside, there was a critique of Altman's presentation before the Royal Society: "Dr Phillip Altman’s presentation was a travesty!" Altman CoViD; Altman's comment on it is:
"Dr. B [name withheld] opinions appear to be based in part on her trust in on-line conspiracy websites."
Hear, hear.
It is clear that precisely the exact accusations Altman is levelling at the health authorities in his communications are his very own modus operandi:
"Misinformation, disinformation and outright lies." Indeed: "It is hard to conceive a more deceitful, disgraceful and dangerous narrative.”
Altman has a history of cooperating with the usual mis- and dis-information suspects regarding CoViD, like Craig Kelly, Malcolm Roberts, George Christensen and Robert Clancy ...

During the COVID-19 pandemic Clancy was involved in controversy when he was quoted by Australian MP Craig Kelly in support of unverified information about claimed benefits of the drugs hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Newcastle University issued a statement in which it distanced itself from Clancy's views, mentioning that the vice-chancellor had said the university did "not consider Robert Clancy a subject matter expert on COVID-19".

There have been 14 COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths reported since the rollout began early last year (as per Nov. 2022).
As of March 2023 63,342,668 vaccine doses had been administered in Australia since the rollout began.
There have been 136,191 (0.2%) adverse event reports (as per Sept. 2022).
The most frequently reported side effects suspected to be associated with the vaccines include headache, muscle and joint pain, fever, chills and nausea. Skin reactions at the site of the injection are also common and can include pain, swelling, redness and an itchy rash. These are recognised side effects of vaccination and are usually transient and mild.
