Stefano Canturi probably is most well-known for his Moulin Rouge neckpiece, worn by Nicole Kidman in Baz Luhrman’s movie. Rumour has it, Luhrman asked Canturi to make a movie-prop for him – a fake; but Canturi said, “no way” and made a real one … with about $2m worth of diamonds.
